Walt Disney World with VIP Private Guide

We decided to take our kids to Disney World last weekend as it’s been a couple of month since our last trip.  Honestly I haven't really been interested in doing it since last time was way too stressful to call a vacation.  The crowds and lines (and heat in summer) make it an unpleasant experience for us parents. This time we decided to do it differently! I arranged my trip with a company called My VIP Tours, who I feel are a major game changer. We stayed at the Ritz Carlton, which was a little far from Magic Kingdom, but still very nice. The club lounge is a huge selling point for this hotel, as it offers little meals and snacks throughout the day. This is helpful especially after a long day at the parks. We learned you can also order room service from the lounge which I saw other families doing. Tired kids + restaurant usually makes for a disaster. Another thing we loved about the Ritz was their pool! The kids played all day at the pool on Saturday with the new friends they quickly made in the Club Lounge. They also spent the afternoon at the kids club with their new friends, which was free for club guests!

We decided to use a VIP guide on Friday which was our full day at Magic Kingdom.  Let’s start by saying the benefit to using this company started well before we got there. They helped us make our dining reservations, and continued to check for cancellations all the way up to the time for our meal. They also arranged all of our fast passes. They not only set up the three we get with Disney but we also get extras with them! Roberta met us at the Ritz and drove us to the Magic Kingdom.  Usually we don’t get extra Magic Hours off property but that was no issue for our guide. We got into the park before they opened at 7:45 and got a great head start on the crowds. Roberta whisked us around the MK and told us where to go and when.  Usually this is my job as mom and travel planner extraordinaire, but not this time. This time I was able to relax and enjoy the park with my family. Emma was not too keen on the roller coasters so Roberta offered to take her on the milder rides while we took Sam on the fast ones. Sam is four and has no fear of the rollercoasters. We literally did not wait in line longer than 5 minutes on any of the rides that day. We got to ride on everything we wanted including Seven Dwarfs Mine Train without a line! This is the hardest ride in MK to get a fast pass for and was no problem for our guide.

We booked our trip pretty last minute so could not get a reservation for Be Our Guest or Royal Table. Our guide continued to check for an opening and managed to get one at Be Our Guest that day. This just added to the convenience of our day as we were able to take a nice break in the day and sit down in the AC and have a good lunch. It also didn’t take long which was good as the kids wanted to jump back into things ASAP. The day ended right before the parade started and Roberta took us on the fastest route out of the park and back to her car. The kids had such a great time and we were not irritable and tired as per usual. This time we got back in time to relax at the hotel club lounge and have dinner at Highball and Harvest. The kids loved the live musician there as did we, and we made it an early night to bed.

I will seriously never go to Disney again without a guide from My VIP Tours and will always recommend our clients do the same. It is a serious game changer! Disney can be fun for the whole family!
