Our Unforgettable Botswana Safari

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Jen Mitchell Travel and the incredible African adventure she planned for our family. Jen created a completely customized trip for our family of five—mom, dad, and three teenagers—along with their grandparents. Planning a trip for three generations, with different ages, interests, and travel experience, is no small task, but Jenn made the entire process feel effortless.

Our journey took us through Botswana, Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, and Mozambique, and every destination was thoughtfully selected and perfectly coordinated. From the safari experiences in Botswana to the beauty of Victoria Falls and the relaxation and adventure in Mozambique, every part of the trip exceeded our expectations.

For most of our family, this was our first time visiting Africa, so we were especially grateful for the level of detail and care Jen put into every aspect of the journey. The travel between destinations was incredibly seamless, with transfers, flights, accommodations, and activities all coordinated beautifully. We never had to worry about what was happening next—we could simply enjoy the experience and each other.

Jen also helped us incorporate something special into the trip—a vow renewal for our 20th wedding anniversary. Having that special moment in Africa, surrounded by our children and parents, made the trip even more memorable.

What made the trip particularly special was how well Jenn understood our family and created an itinerary that worked for everyone—from the teenagers to the grandparents. There was the perfect balance of adventure, wildlife, culture, relaxation, and time together.  This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime family trip, and Jen played a huge role in making it so memorable. Her knowledge, attention to detail, responsiveness, and ability to anticipate every need gave us complete confidence throughout the journey.
