Luxury Singita Safari, Tanzania and Rwanda

Having just finished a mind expanding trip to Tanzania and Rwanda, I am thrilled to give you written text of how exhilarating this trip was for me….something I am rarely compelled to do! In short, this was THE MOST exciting and joyful trip I believe I have ever taken in my life, and I am reasonably well travelled. Although trying to avoid
excessive hyperbole… it was simply FABULOUS, almost beyond description!

Though the planning of this trip was 2 years in the making, with a fair bit of general reluctancy along the lines of… “what the hell I am thinking, Africa???”… it was flawless in its preparation and exacting in its execution. Your contacts with TRAVEL BEYOND certainly lived up to your hype as they completely understand how to create a thrilling adventure to Africa, with visits to the Mara River to watch thousands of wildebeests and zebras cross, the majestic scenery and plethora of exotic animals on the Serengeti….

Lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, warthogs, hyenas and ostriches to name a few, hot air ballooning at dawn to watch herds of animals run, climaxed with hiking the peaks of Rwanda to visit mountain gorillas (never seen in captivity). All done in just over 2 weeks…..truly amazing and nearly unbelievable! Maybe most surprising to me was just how absolutely kind and genuinely friendly were the people of Tanzania and Rwanda with whom I came into contact. Not sure how I can relate this thought beyond saying….simply humble and sincere and generous… were my feelings when interacting with them. I am so ecstatic that I convinced myself to go on this excursion / safari…it had been in my mind for decades….I just kept putting it on the back burner. Such a memorable experience…and I would leave again tomorrow if I had the chance. I certainly hope to see Africa again very soon!

Perhaps, in summary, my best testimonial is to say….if you have ever even considered a trip to Africa…don’t wait on this trip, don’t doubt yourself about going…and just get yourself prepared to enjoy what I am sure would be the trip of your life!
